We started the month of June with my sister's wedding. It was perfect! The location was gorgeous and the weather was wonderful. Congratulations to Shelli and Justin!
Lexie was the cutest flower girl around, we had the older girls holding her hands and she walked down the aisle.
Mr. & Mrs. Coburn!
Mother/Daughter Dance
The next weekend was Father's Day and we were at my dad's for his annual get together. They spend all year thinking of fun games for us to play and compete in, it's a lot of fun and something we look forward to. This years games included water balloons, chopsticks, deceiving wooden blocks, and huge bouncy balls among other things.
Her first taste of watermelon! She loved it and ate 3 pieces!
Greg using his best chopstick skills
Water balloons that had to be caught in the buckets on our heads
After that 4th of July festivities began, we went to the Greenwood Freedom Festival and checked out the parade, it was Lexie's first and I think she enjoyed it. We did too, it was great morning and we finished it off with fireworks that night (Alexis slept through them).
Enjoying the parade and a cookie
This past Saturday we went to G.G.'s house to celebrate some birthdays and have a family get together. The big project of the day was finally getting Alexis' pink wagon put together. I think she is a fan. :)
On Sunday we went to Liz and Matt's for their annual pool party and to celebrate Grace's birthday! We had a lot of fun. Lexie got in the pool with her new float from Aunt Shelli & Uncle Justin. She's the cutest!
We also got to see our good friends Erica & Josh and their little girl Avalynn. They got the girls matching 4th of July dresses so of course we had to get their picture together.
Avalynn and Alexis all dressed up for the 4th! Neither one of them wanted to sit or stand still, this is the best we could do. :)
Since the weather has been so nice we've been taking regular trips to the park. Lexie loves it and it is a great way to get outside and have some fun.
Ready to go to the park, sunglasses and all!
Having so much fun in the swing!
Climbing all over Daddy, I guess she wanted to see things from our point of view
Our little walker! She walked almost halfway home from the park. She really started to take off walking a few weeks ago and hasn't stopped since!
Next up is a trip to Michigan for my cousins baby shower and then vacation to Gatlinburg.
